Your Safety is Our Priority!

Powering Your Life Safely

At Marshalls Energy Company (MEC), we understand that electricity is a fundamental part of your everyday life. It lights up your homes, powers your businesses, and fuels your technology. But with this incredible resource comes great responsibility—both ours and yours.

Our Commitment to Safety

Our mission extends beyond providing reliable energy. It encompasses a profound commitment to the safety of our customers, employees, and the communities we serve. We invest in comprehensive training for our workforce, adopt rigorous safety protocols, and harness technology to prevent and swiftly respond to any safety issues.

Your Role in Safety

While we work tirelessly to maintain a safe energy infrastructure, everyone has a role to play in ensuring the safety of the public and our employees. We encourage you to practice safety in handling electricity by following these guidelines:

  1. Stay Alert – Always stay aware of your surroundings. Pay attention to posted signs and keep a safe distance from electrical equipment and power lines.
  2. Look Up and Live – Before lifting ladders, long tools, or carrying tall loads, always look up to ensure you’re clear of any overhead power lines.
  3. Dig Smart – Before you dig in your yard for gardening or any construction activities, call the appropriate number to locate underground electrical lines to prevent injuries, damages, and power outages.
  4. Report Hazards – If you spot a downed power line or other electrical hazards, keep a safe distance and immediately report it to us using our emergency contact details provided below.
  5. Child Safety – Educate your children on the dangers of electricity. Teach them to avoid touching electrical cords, sockets, or outdoor transformers.
  6. Equipment Handling – When using electrical equipment, make sure your hands are dry and you’re standing on a dry surface, preferably with rubber-soled shoes.
  7. Power Surge Awareness – Use surge protectors to protect your appliances and sensitive electronics from power surges.
